Zetta Rose Jones Golden

Zetta Rose Jones Golden, 82, of Belton passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at a Belton Care Center.

Funeral services were private.

Zetta was born on November 28, 1938 in Collins, Mississippi to Luther and Edna (Clark) Glisson. She worked for Scott and White in Temple for 25 years before she retired. Mrs. Golden was a longtime member of Miller Heights Baptist Church in Belton and later at Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church in Temple where she sang in the choir and helped serve the youth of Bell County.

Mrs. Golden was preceded in death by her brother, Edsel Glisson. She is survived by her son Phillip Jones and his wife Misty of Hewitt; daughter Debbie Timm and her husband Greg of California; grandsons Chad Jones and his wife Jen of Colorado, Sean Timm and his wife Taryn of California, and Cody Jones and his wife Mercedes of Belton; and her longtime best friend Gloria Lofton.
