Winnie Lee Culp

Funeral services for Winnie L. Culp, 89, of Belton will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Baggerly officiating.  Burial will follow at the Moffat Cemetery.

Mrs. Culp died Monday, December 10, 2018 at her home in Belton.

Mrs. Culp was born October 15, 1929 in Dog Ridge, the daughter of Richard and Lela Baggerly.  She married Ray Culp in Gatesville in 1946.  They made their home in Belton in 1963.  She worked for Smith Brothers Grocery and Montgomery Ward.  She was also a member of the Sportsman Club and the Belton Iris Society.

Mrs. Culp was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Ray Culp in April 2018, by one daughter Glenda Grau, and one great grandson. Also her twin sister Minnie Browning, sister Joyce Spence, brothers, Robert Baggerly, Richard Baggerly and Albert Baggerly.

Survivors include one son Dwight Culp and his wife Nita of Belton; five daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda and Bobby Shumate of Preston Maryland, Clarinda and Larry Wheeler of Belton, Brenda and James Edmondson of Moody, Rhonda and Bob Bills of Burnet and Lorinda and Jason Scarborough of Belton; five brothers Jim Baggerly of Holland, Floyd Baggerly of Jourdanton, Larry Baggerly of Belton, Ronnie Baggerly of Waco and Donnie Baggerly of Belton; 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
