Willie Ward Bounds

The family will receive friends for visitation from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Bounds died Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at her home in Belton.

Mrs. Bounds was born July 15, 1932 in Belton, the daughter of Frankie and Cynthia Estelle (Ivey) Ward.   She married Doyle Bounds in 1979 in Corsicana.  She was the owner and cook at Willie's Cafe at 500 South Main Street in Belton for more than 28 years.   She was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 4008 in Belton.

She was preceded in death by son Ronald "Butch" Kettler and step son John Bounds and seven siblings.

Survivors include her husband Doyle Bounds of Belton, one daughter Sandra Dotson of Belton; three step daughters Nanette Smith of Montana, Stephanie Bounds of Kansas City, Kansas and LaJuana Bounds of Kansas City, Kansas.  One sister Sue LaRocque of Copperas Cove; six grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
