William Barton Thomison

Funeral service for William Barton Thomison, 97, of Belton will be 10 Am Monday, February 1, 2021 at Dossman Funeral Home with Jerry Johnson and David Trayler officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton. Mr. Thomison died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his home in Belton.

He was born in Bell County on March 13, 1923 to Marion Francis and Orby (Bruton) Thomison. He served in the United States Army. He married Annie Mae Puckett on March 20, 1944, she preceded him in death on June 17, 1960. He married Corine Waters on January 14, 1965 in Belton.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie Mae (Puckett) Thomison; a son, Danny Barton Thomison; two brothers, Marshall and Ben Thomison and a son in law, David Foster.

Survivors include his wife, Corine Thomison; a son, Ben Chrisher; four daughters, Mildred Foster, Ruby Ashlock and husband Delbert, Cori Burk, and Pamela Thomison Fillo and husband Greg; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
