Wesley Kyle Arthaud, 36, of Belton, passed away on Thursday, June 6th. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 15th, 5-7pm. Services will be held on Monday June 17th, at 2pm at Dossman Funeral Home.
Wesley was born on October 20, 1987, to James and Kayla Arthaud, in Temple, TX.
Wesley was passionate in everything he did; the way he loved, the way he spoke, and the way he felt. He has always been meticulous for wanting to understand how things work. Whether it be from when he was younger and taking apart a complete bike assembly to being older and rebuilding a vehicle, no matter the size. He had a knack for mechanics, which he learned from his late father. He’s been working on trucks since he was big enough to hold a flashlight. He encouraged this love for vehicles with his daughter, Haidyn; they often discussed what her Jeep would look like, and they pondered the idea of how they’d work on it together. Wesley even tried to share this passion with his nephews, though they were too small to understand. He rode his bike everywhere he went– even to his family church 45 miles away, before he found a church much closer to him that felt like home. He was baptized there, at Crossroads Church, the Sunday before his passing.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Douglas Arthaud, and his grandmother Sandra Dunn.
He is survived by his daughter, Haidyn Arthaud; his mother, Kayla Arthaud; two sisters, Miranda Arthaud and Miriah Arthaud; two nieces and two nephews; and his best friend Dave Fisher.
