Funeral services for Wayne Tubbs, 76, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Martin officiating.  Private burial will be at North Belton Cemetery.

Mr. Tubbs died Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in a Temple Nursing Home.

Mr. Tubbs was born January 23, 1946 in Taylor.  He was the son of Daniel Archie Tubbs Sr. and Mary Lois (Mott) Tubbs.   Mr. Tubbs served in the United States Army and the National Guard for 13 years.   He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Belton.  He married Melissa Ann Motloch June 1, 1990 in Belton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, N. Walter Tubbs, Daniel Davis Tubbs, Lilburn Archie Tubbs, Mary Alice Tubbs Edgar, Ella Lois Tubbs Ralston,  Daniel Archie Tubbs, Jr. and Betty Ann Tubbs Melroy.

Survivors include his wife Melissa Ann (Motloch) Tubbs of Belton, three sons Canyon Wayne Tubbs, Coleman Alan Tubbs, and Jerry Wayne Lucky; two daughters Brittany Ann Tubbs and Taylor Nicole Tubbs.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening, from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home.
