Wayne Rothman

Graveside services for Wayne Rothman, 82, of Gatesville, formerly of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at the Rest Haven Cemetery with Rev. Larry McGregor officiating.

Mr. Rothman died Friday, August 3, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Rothman was born November 26, 1935, in Centerville, Mississippi, the son of Theodore Rothman and Mabel Hawkins Rothman. He worked as a welder for 57 years. He had his own shop in Belton, Wayne’s Welding.   He was a Mason and a member of the 3C Cowboy Church.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Cricket Rothman of Gatesville, one daughter Denise Bruner of Belton, step daughter Lou Fisher of Gatesville and step son Joe Quinn of Florida; two brothers George Rothman and Ronald Rothman both of Louisiana; four sisters Marie Halford of Mississippi, Claire Oncale of Tennessee, Mamie Gagunex of Louisiana and Linda Rothman of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home.
