Virginia Ann Schigut, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, at her home in Salado, Texas. She left this world surrounded by the love and warmth of her family, departing due to natural causes.

Virginia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kindness and gentle spirit. She spent her life caring for her family and enriching the lives of those around her. Her wisdom and warmth were a guiding light for all who knew her, and her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Edward Schigut, and her loving children: daughter Denise Schigut, son Joseph "Lee" Schigut, his wife Lori Schigut, son Michael Schigut, grandson Dylan Schigut, granddaughter Danielle Marie Toms and grandbabies. Virginia’s presence will be dearly missed, but her memory will be cherished forever.

Services to honor Virginia’s life will be held at Dossman Funeral Home, 2525 North Main St, Belton, TX.  Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery, Belton, TX.
