Vidala Molina De Arredondo, 80, of Belton passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with Father John Kim officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.
Vidala was born on May 23, 1938 in Rancho Alegre Mexico to Jose Carmen and Nicanora (Mata) Molina. She grew up in Mexico and attended schools there. Vidala married Jesus Arredondo on October 3, 1953 in Mexico, and they moved to Belton in 1971. She worked as a custodian at Belton Junior High until her health forced her to retire in 1993. Vidala was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.
Vidala is survived by her husband Jesus of Belton, sons Jesus Arredondo, Jr. of Belton, Francisco Arredondo of Belton, Ernesto Arredondo of Belton, and Fernando Arredondo of Austin, daughters Carmela Arredondo Marin of Belton, Maria de Jesus Arredondo of Temple, Sara Arredondo Arson of Belton, Silvia Arredondo of Belton, Ludivina Arredondo of Belton, Sandra Arredondo de La Rosa of Belton, and Dora Arredondo Ortiz of Morgans Point. Also surviving is her brother Ricardo Jasso of Mexico, sisters Consuelo Alvarado of Donna, Texas and Adela Jasso of Mexico, 28 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM and a Rosary will be recited beginning at 7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
