Troy Farris

Funeral services for Troy Lee Farris, 57, of Belton, will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Smetana officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Farris died Tuesday, July 24, 2018.

Mr. Farris was born September 16, 1960 in Gunnison, Colorado, the son of Dean Farris and Lydia Jo Alcorn Farris.  He married Dorothy Pruett March 12, 1983 in Belton.  He was a truck driver and worked for Smetana & Associates Construction for more than 32 years.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Farris of Belton, two sons Christopher Scott “Scotty” Farris and wife Ashley of Hewitt and Aaron Lee Farris and wife Aylessa of Belton; one daughter Aleya Mae Farris of Belton;   One brother Roy Dean Farris and wife Penny of Odessa; one sister Mary Ann Milliken and husband Joe of Melvin; and three grandchildren Trenton Lee Farris, Shelbie Elizabeth Farris and Levi James Farris and many nieces and nephews.
