Tina Louise Nixon

Tina Louise Nixon, 65, of Temple, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, at BSW hospital in Temple. Tina was born on January 2, 1959, in Taylor, TX., to parents Nelson and Celia Nixon.

She worked for Baylor Scott and White for 30 years. Tina had a love for Nascar, her trusty companion Chewy, baking, and spending time with family. Tina fought and beat breast cancer and just recently was diagnosed with Leukemia fighting a short but fierce battle.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Celia Nixon; and one nephew, PFC T.J. Hewett.

She is survived by her father, Nelson Nixon; three sisters, Sharon Hewett and husband Richard, Jan Shuler and husband Claude, and Diane Blann and husband Woodie; four nephews, Rick Hewett and wife Julie, Jason Shuler and wife Haley, Ryan Shuler, and Cody Shuler and wife Destiny, two nieces, Mickayela Bywater and husband Cory and Staci Brindle and husband Rusty; along with 10 great nieces and nephews and two great great nephews.

The family will have a private service at a later date. Dossman Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
