Timothy Glen Williams, 60, of Belton, TX, formerly of Brownwood, TX passed away on November 29, 2023.

Timothy was born July 13th, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas to Richard Melvin Williams and Glenda Faye Baxter Williams.

He was a man of strong Christian faith, a country boy at heart, and a beloved husband, father, and Papaw. Tim was a very quiet man, but his grandchildren provided him many smiles and much laughter. He quietly battled a progressive muscle disease for over 30 years but was considered the strongest man alive by his loved ones.

He adored his family and leaves behind his soulmate and wife of 38 years, Deanna, along with his son Justin Williams of Belton, TX, daughter Katie and son-in-love Matt Roddam of Belton, TX and grandchildren Zoey, Daniel, and Lily Roddam, his beloved parents Richard and Glenda Williams of Weatherford, TX, brother Ricky Williams and wife Carla of Weatherford, TX, as well as many other family members and friends.

Tim graduated from Keller High School in 1981 and began his career with the Keller post office at the age of 15 as a janitor. He worked his way up to becoming a rural substitute mail carrier and eventually held a full-time rural carrier position. In 1993, Tim was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, and he transferred to a smaller country route in Mullin, Texas. He was well-known in the community as “Tim the mail carrier in the little red truck” and reluctantly retired on disability from the postal service in 2013.

Tim had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was an active member of Northwood Church in Keller, TX. He later attended First Baptist Church in Early, TX until his health no longer allowed him to do so. Outside of his faith, family, and career, Tim had various hobbies and interests. He was involved in the FFA during his time at Keller High School and had a passion for raising chickens. He enjoyed little league baseball and being coached by his dad, spending time with his Airedale Butch, and fishing with his family. As a young adult, he cherished his young children, his loving wife and constant companion Deanna, Airedale “Nana" and Airedale "Peanut” and his beloved tractor.

In his later years, his greatest joy came from his grandchildren Zoey, Daniel, and Lily, who brought him endless love and entertainment.

Memorial services for Timothy Glen Williams will be held at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, TX on Friday, December 8th at 1:00 p.m.
