Thomas Boyd Tipton, Sr.

Thomas Boyd Tipton, Sr., 83, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Wm. R. Courtney Care Facility in Temple.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 9:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen with Al Lowe officiating.

Tom was born on August 28, 1936 in Waco, Texas to William Lee and Effie (Kinsey) Tipton. He grew up in Waco and graduated from Waco Tech High and later from 4C College. He served in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1957. Mr. Tipton worked as a building inspector in the Waco area retiring in 2000.

Mr. Tipton is survived by a son Thomas Tipton, Jr., and daughter Taryn Tipton of Temple.
