Thomas James Lechowicz passed away on August 19th, 2024, at 77 years of age in Temple, Texas.

Services will be at 10am on Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton, Texas. Burial to follow at Bellwood Memorial Park and Cemetery, Temple Texas.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home.

Thomas James Lechowicz was born on November 16th, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois to Adam G. and Frances B. Szymanski Lechowicz.

Thomas married JoAnn Grant on December 31st, 1969, in Waco, Texas. He was a proud American who served in the Vietnam Conflict.  He was a strong family man, who loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed being an outdoorsman and playing softball when stationed overseas. He worked as a military contractor master mechanic.

Thomas was a member of VFW Post 10377, American Legion Post 55, The DAV, The Brotherhood of Vietnam Veterans, Morgan’s Point Resort VFD.

Thomas is survived by his wife JoAnn, his son Mark & wife Melissa Lechowicz, Daughter Michele & husband Raymond Collins, his brother Edward Lechowicz, five grandchildren, Ashley Oaties, Stephanie Collins, Kaleb Lechowicz, Khloe Lechowicz, and Kameron Lechowicz, three great-grandchildren, Zander Zambrano, Raylene Zambrano, and Oakleigh Plumb.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, and brother James Lechowicz.
