A memorial service for Takako Cochran, 85, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with H. K. Ballard officiating.

Mrs. Cochran died Friday, September 8, 2023 in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Cochran was born January 15, 1938, in Okinawa, Japan, the daughter of  Nobuo and Fuji Kohagura.  She was raised in Okinawa with her brothers and sisters, Setsuko, Kunio, Hisao, Hisako and Hiroko .  She lived in Japan until her marriage to George "Rocky" Cochran, September 26, 1966 in Okinawa, Japan.  They made their home in Belton in 1973.   She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sept 5, 2019.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and two Goddaughters, Amanda Linn of Belton and Arlene Aquino of California.
