Susan Marie "Sue" Hughes

Susan Marie "Sue" Hulett Hughes, 72, of Morgan's Point Resort, died Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Hughes was born April 26, 1952, in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of Wesley London Hulett and Donna Marie (Shaw) Hulett.

She married James Elliot Hughes, March 13, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was a substitute teacher with Belton ISD for more than 20 years. She was a Christian.

Survivors include her husband James Hughes, son Jay Adams, daughter Melody Hobday and husband Zachary, step-son Jeremy Hughes and wife Lindsy, two step-daughters Jennifer Bunch and husband Dwayne and Jessica Hughes significant other  Tanner Shaw, one brother Tom Hulett; and four grandloves, Mahayla Adams, Autumn Adams, Teagun Hobday and Weslee Hobday.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of arrangements.
