Don Arlen Farrell, 83, of Hutto, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at his home in Hutto.
Don was born on October 10, 1937, in Hamlin, Texas to Wade and Nell (Wilcox) Farrell. He grew up in San Antonio and Fort Worth, where he graduated from Polytechnic High School. He worked for Southwestern Bell for 30 years and was an avid hunter, golfer, and car racing enthusiast.
Susan ‘Suzy’ Farrell, 72, of Hutto, Texas passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at her home in Hutto.
Suzy was born December 9, 1949, in Alma Nebraska to David Winford and Dorothy Virginia (Rhoads) Porterfield. She grew up in Austin, Texas where she graduated from Reagan High School. Suzy strongly valued her family and was an avid bowler and bingo player.
Mr. & Mrs. Farrell were married on May 10, 1980 in Las Vegas, NV, until Don preceded her in death.
Don & Suzy were preceded in death by both of their parents, and Suzy’s two brothers, David Porterfield Jr. and Skot Porterfield. They are survived by their sons Jonathan Farrell, and wife Katie of Hutto, Clifford Farrell and wife Shannon of San Antonio, and Patrick Farrell and wife Kim of Chicago. They also leave behind seven grandchildren, Trace, Tanner, Stetson, Lilly, Daniel, AJ, & Mia.
A joint graveside service will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 17, 2022, at Moody Cemetery in Moody, Texas with James Alvin Rhoads officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
