Funeral services for Sheila Potts, 60, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019, at North Belton Cemetery with Jim Goforth officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 Friday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Potts died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in a Temple Hospital.
Mrs. Potts was born July 18, 1958 in Belton, the daughter of James and Bernice Alexander. She attended school in Belton and graduated from Howard Payne University. She taught math and drama for 32 and retired from Belton in 2013. She married David Potts May 26, 2011 in Belton.
Survivors include her husband David Potts of Belton, mother Bernice Shomake of Belton, son Colter Pohorelsky of Giddings, two step sons David Potts of Belton and Arthur Potts of Austin, a brother Wesley Alexander of Lampasas, two sisters Lisa Goforth of Troupe and Sheryl Van Dyke of Georgetown; and for grandchildren, Makenna, Brody, Rowdy and Adeline.
