Sally Ann DeCasas, 60, of Temple, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 8, from 6-8pm.

Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, at 10am. Both will take place at Dossman Funeral Home. Sally was born March 15, 1964, to parents Tomas and Betty Luna, in Omaha, NE.

Sally was one of the most loving souls out there. Devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Her love didn’t stay within blood boundaries. She took in Peter McCarthy, young teenage boy in need of a family and she became a god-sent mother to him and so many more after him. She took in various pets in need of home throughout the years and nurtured them. Her heart was larger than herself.

She is survived by her husband, Elias DeCasas; three sons, Juan Carlos DeCasas and wife Erika, Orlando Elias DeCasas and wife Celia, Omar Tomas DeCasas and wife Elida; one daughter, Marisa Rebecca Williams and husband Andrew; one brother, Gilbert Luna; six sisters, Cecilia Bernal, Aurora Anson, Alice Gomez, Linda Sillik, Sandra Luna, Rebecca Rojas; and eleven grandchildren, Destiny Mya(17), Lilianna Michelle(16), Ivan Angel(15), Tomas Andres(13), Lorenzo Omar(8), Liliana Renae(7), Ivy Rose(6), Ryker Grey(4), Ezekiel Kane(4), Harlow Grace(2), and Baby DeCasas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Tomas Luna and Francisco Luna; and one sister, Lorrie Luna.
