Ruth Ann Mckenzie

Funeral services for Ruth Ann McKenzie, 53, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darren Rich officiating. Burial will follow at the Val Verde Cemetery.
Mrs. McKenzie died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in a Temple hospital.
Mrs. McKenzie was born April 28, 1965, in Temple, the daughter of Jimmy Lee Pruitt and Bobbie Ruth (Pierce) Pruitt. She was raised in Belton and was a member of The Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. She worked for many years as a waitress at the Great Southwest Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Jimmie Pruitt.
Survivors include her mother Bobbie Pruitt of Belton; four sons, Jimmy Farmer of Round Rock, Joe Farmer of Belton, James McKenzie of Belton and Joseph McKenzie of Belton; two daughters Bobbie Farmer and Gennifer Beall both of Belton; two brothers David Jackson of Belton and Randy Jackson of Jarrell; and one sister Tammie Pruitt of Belton and 15 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, May 17, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home.
