Ruby Lee Drake

Ruby Lee Drake, 86, of Thorndale passed away surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, July 3, 2021 in Temple.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Marshall Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery, 13206 FM 93, Belton, Texas 76513.

Ruby was born, November 14, 1934, in Belton, TX . She loved spending time with her family during gatherings. She was one of nine siblings. Ruby leaves behind a large family spread throughout Texas.

Ruby takes with her an abundance of love and gratitude from all her families she leaves behind. She will always be missed and always be loved by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, five brothers, her sister, and her great grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruby Jo Pachl; Jo’s husband James Pachl, her two sons Calvin Drake and George Drake; George's wife Gloria Drake; her two sisters, Betty Williams and Ruth Ward; her grandchildren Christopher Pachl, Kali Miller, Christy Hardin, and Micheal Drake; her great grandchildren Hudson Miller, Wyatt Pachl, Beau Pachl, Caleb Pachl, Alyssa Pachl, Zachary Pachl, Abby Pachl, Jude Skrobarcek, Joy Skrobarcek, and Dayton; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 57 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
