Ruben Prcin

Funeral services for Ruben Anton Prcin, 91, of Temple, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Taylor's Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Crosby officiating.  Burial will follow at the Greathouse Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mr. Prcin died Friday, August 16, 2019, in a Temple nursing home.

Mr. Prcin was born in Rogers, the son of Anton and Ella (Schiller) Prcin.  He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.   He was a painting contractor.  He married Geneva Kennedy in November 1950.  She preceded him in death February 2, 1978.  He married Edith Hunt, August 23, 1978.   Mr. Prcin was a long time member of Taylor's Valley Baptist Church and served as a deacon of the church for many years.

Mr. Prcin was also preceded in death by a daughter Deanie Hollowell and a grandson; a sister, Lillian Drummond and a brother Dan Prcin.

Mr. Prcin is survived by his wife Edith Prcin of Temple, three sons Ronald Prcin of Temple, Timothy Prcin and wife Suzanne of Temple and Ronald Paris and wife Bridgetta of Rockdale; one daughter Jeanie Melde  and husband Fritzie of Thorndale; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and a niece, Donna Kennedy Richard.

Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
