Ronald Ray Travis

Graveside services for Ronald Ray Travis, 68, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Temple Garden of Memories with Larry Henry officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM  at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Mr. Travis died Friday, July 26, 2024, in a Temple hospital.

Mr. Travis was born April 25, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Burton Travis and Delpha (Graham) Travis.   He married Karen Gauntt, December 1, 1978, at the VA Hospital Chapel in Temple.  He was an auto mechanic.  Mr. Travis was a member of the Scottish Terrier Club of America.  He was involved with showing Scottish Terriers and later helped with Scottish Terrier Rescues.

He was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Karen Travis, two daughters Amanda Lawrence and Renee Travis, one brother Robert (Bob) Travis and three grandchildren, Cody Lawrence, Madison Morales, and Faith Morales.
