Romana A. Lopez

Romana Arismendez Lopez passed away at her home in Belton, TX, on February 12th, 2024.

Visitation and Rosary will be from 6 to 8pm on Wednesday, February 21st , 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, Texas

Funeral Mass will be at 10am on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Belton, Texas with burial to follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Romana was born in Coleman, Texas on June 6th, 1938, to Merced Arismendez and Teresa Vega Arismendez.

She married Benito Lopez in Snyder, Texas on November 23, 1960.

Romana was retired from retail sales and became a full-time housewife, so she could work in her flower garden.  She was known for being very caring, loving, and never to have met anyone she thought was a stranger, she would do whatever she could to help everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Benito G. Lopez, children; Florence Monroe Lopez, Bobby and Angela Lopez; siblings; Blas and Carmen Arismendez, Pablo Arismendez, Defina Lopez, Connie Barber, Mercedes Lester, Ann and Gonzalo Salazar; Grandchildren; Crystal and husband Andrew Martinez, Bobby Lopez, Zachary Lopez, Alana Lopez, Stefany and husband Michael Concha, Zane Lopez, Daniel and wife Wendy Lopez, Lorenzo Lopez and Lettakaye Lopez, Fifteen Great-Grandchildren and her dog, Reina.
