A celebration of the life of Robert Michael Morgan, 63, of Belton will take place at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton on Thursday, May 27 at 2 p.m. Mike was born in Roswell, New Mexico, on March 11, 1958 and died suddenly Sunday morning, May 23, at his home in Belton.
Mike lived life wholeheartedly. His love for God was the driving force behind everything he did. And everything he did, he did with excellence, whether it was helping in the youth or music ministry at his local church or managing his team at work.
The light of his life was his wife, Charlotte (Coker), who he married in Edna, Texas, on May 17, 1980. Their love for each other and for their son, Sam, was unconditional. The fun they had together was infectious and added to the joy he brought to friends and family alike.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Robert Arthur and Catherine (Cheek) Morgan and his sister, Peggy Miller.
In addition to his wife, s
urvivors include his son Sam and daughter-in-law Kristyn, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
