Robbie Lee Goodnight

Graveside services for Robbie L. Goodnight, 93, of Belton, will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Salado Cemetery with Rev. Frank Wallace officiating.

Robbie died Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in a Belton Assisted Living Center.

Robbie was born September 12, 1930, in Salado, the daughter of Ed and Esther (Grimm) Reue.  She graduated from Salado High School.  She married Donald Goodnight, November 24, 1948, in Salado.   They moved to Corpus Christi for a few years before returning to Salado.   She worked for the Temple Daily Telegram in the advertising department for many years before retiring.    She was a member of Prairie Dell Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011.

Survivors include two sons Gary Goodnight and wife Tracey, and Alan Goodnight and wife Tammy: one daughter Rene' DePoy and husband Mark. Six grandchildren, Brittani, Karleigh, Dacen, Cade, Sarah and Hannah; and five great-grandchildren.
