Rita De Sarinana

Rita (Rodriguez) De Sarinana, 94, of Belton passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Belton on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church in Belton with Father Sang officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Rita was born on May 22, 1926 in Durango, Mexico to Jose and Estefana (Mayorga) Rodriguez. She was raised in Durango, moving to Belton in 1993. Mrs. De Sarinana married Antonio Sarinana in 1950 and they were married 68 years before he passed away in 2018. Rita was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton and was a homemaker.

Mrs. De Sarinana was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her sons, Adolfo Sarinana of Belton, Tx, Ismael Sarinana of Belton, Tx, and Sergio Sarinana of Belton, Tx, and her daughters Teresa Quinones of Temple, Tx, Olga Lopez of Temple, Tx, Yolanda Soto of Belton, Tx, Laurdes Amaya of Belton, Tx, and Carmen Serrano of Belton, Tx. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 5-7 pm at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm by Deacon Oscar Valeriano.
