Richard Randolph Patton, 61, of Little River-Academy, passed away on February 7, 2024, at a Temple hospital at 6:30am.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 16, 6-8pm. Services will be Saturday, February 17, at 2:00pm. Both events will take place at Dossman Funeral Home.

Richard, better known as Randy, was born on December 19, 1962, to Gary Wendill Patton and Ursula (Wolff) Patton, in Heidelberg, Germany. He married his wife of 40 years, Louise Garza, on September 16, 1983. He spent a lot of time on the road as a truck driver for 29 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and working on cars. His real joy was spending time with his family, he loved to make people laugh. He looked forward most to spending his evenings drinking coffee and having quality time with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Patton; their 4 children, Daniel Patton & wife Noemi, Josh Patton & wife Emily, Candice Baumann & husband Erich, and Kaidynce Patton; 8 grandchildren, Ella, Sophia, Jadon, McKenna, Maci, Gavin, Dax, and Lily; one brother, Steven Walker; and two sisters, Sandra Motl and Linda Vickers.

Preceded in death by his mother, Ursula Wolf, father, Gary Patton, stepfather, Michael Walker, brother, Brian Patton, and sister, Diane Herzog.
