Richard “Rick” W. Albrecht Jan.17, 1956 - Oct.11, 2018

Rick was born in Baltimore, Maryland on Jan.17, 1956 to Charles and Doris Smith Albrecht. He passed away at his home in Pottsboro, Texas on Oct.11, 2018.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon “Shar” McKay Albrecht, his cherished son Shandy McKay and wife Live and the joy of his life, his grandson, Blaze.
His brothers; Charles and wife Ruth, Michael, Robert, David and wife Brenda and their families.
His Texas family; father in-law Harold G McKay, Gary and Lori McKay, Dianne and Jim Nutt, Glenda Hadenfeldt and their families.
Rick was employed by Lowes in Plano at the time of his death.
He was a man with a heart as big as Texas that was always ready to volunteer his skills to help others. Rick possessed a great sense of humor and loved to bring laughter to all he met. Rick was a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan who ate, slept, and breathed Ravens Football.
We will dearly miss this great man.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. Billy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
