Due to rheumatoid arthritis which set in during his early life, limited him enjoying his love of hunting and fishing. He loved camping and fishing with family and friends at the Brazos River, The Edgewater at Buchannan Lake, and Richland Chambers Lake. He farmed and ranched with his dad and still enjoyed watching his cattle graze through the large plate glass window in his recent built Barndominium while sitting on the deck, which looked out to the family river bottom.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Billie Cross and brother, Billy Frank (Pete) Cross.

He is survived by wife, Patsy; son, Justin Cross of Temple and granddaughter, Madison of Holland; daughter, Sarah, son in law, Steven Hubbard and grandson, Case of Moody; sister, Katy Marshall of Temple; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Very special thanks to the ER, Trauma, and ICU doctors and nurses who attended to him at the Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
