Paul L. Owens

Paul L. Owens, 60, of Tyler, died Friday, February 12, 2021, in a Tyler hospital.  Private family services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Owens was a free spirit who marched to the beat of a different drum.  He was born November 15, 1960, in Temple, the son of Kenneth and Dicksy Herrington Owens.   He was a graduate of Belton High School.  He was a life long resident of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his younger brother Wade Owens, paternal grandparents Oran and Bessie Owens, maternal grandmother, Katie Carter Herrington and maternal grandfather Harvey Herrington.

Survivors include his father Kenneth Owens of Belton; mother Dicksy Herrington Turner of Belton; brother Scot Owens and wife Judy of Austin; sister Stacey Shepherd and husband Robb of Austin; nephews Wade Owens and family of McGregor and Benjamin Shepherd of Austin; two uncles Mike Herrington and family of Belton and Don Owens and family of Belton.
