Paul Castillo

Paul Martinez Castillo, 81, of Belton passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019 at his daughter's home in Morgans Point.

Funeral services for Paul will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Dossman Funeral Home chapel in Belton with Rev. Ed Dowell officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Paul was born on April 2, 1938 in Belton, Texas to Augustine and Margaret (Martinez) Castillo. He was raised in Belton and attended schools there. Mr. Castillo married Pauletta Sue England on October 7, 1972 in San Diego, California. Shortly after he moved back to Belton where he began a long career in the construction industry, owning his own concrete finishing company for many years. Even after retirement he continued to work around the Belton and surrounding areas for various other companies well into his late 70's. Paul was a longtime member of Trinity Church in Temple.

Mr. Castillo was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy Castillo, Jesse Castillo, Augie Castillo, Henry Castillo, and Johnny Castillo, granddaughter Tazmin Castillo, and great granddaughter Alaina Trevino. He is survived by sons Pablo Castillo of Lubbock and Daryl Beatty of Houston, daughters Margaret Montez of Lubbock, Michele Beatty-Coleman of Rogers, Ark., Rosie Prestin of Temple, Angela Bishoff of Belton, and Tracye Castillo of Belton, as well as 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home.
