Patsy Parker

Patsy Ann (Box) Parker, 83, of Belton, Texas passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her family on January 16, 2021.

A funeral service for Patsy will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery. The funeral service can be viewed by visiting dossmanfh.com.

Patsy was born on August 2, 1937 in Georgetown, Texas, to William & Ola Box. She married Larry Parker on January 1, 1956 in Belton, Texas. She retired in 1994 from Belton ISD after 24 years as a teacher’s aide. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ and attended Heidenheimer Church of Christ until her passing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Larry; her daughter Kelly & husband Kevin Ming of Temple; grandson Colby Sawyer and wife Lauren of Lakeway, TX, granddaughter Sara Patterson and husband Tanner of New Caney, TX and granddaughter Beka Sawyer of Houston, Texas and 5 great grandchildren, sister Billie (Box) King & husband ER of Belton, nieces, nephews and many, many dear friends. Patsy was a member of the Belton Belles and enjoyed many wonderful times with her childhood friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
