Patricia Faye Dorris

Patricia Faye Dorris, 74, of Belton, passed away on the morning of Sunday, September 1, 2024. Visitation will be on Monday, September 9, 2024, 10am-12pm at Dossman Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3pm at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Patricia was born on August 8, 1950, in Waco, TX., to parents Aubrey Dutschmann and Faye Catherine White Dutschmann.

She met and married William Dorris, Jr. on August 30, 1975. She was a nurse at the Temple VA Hospital for 33 years, before retiring. It was a career she loved and took much pride in.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Dorris, Jr.

She is survived by her son, William Dorris and wife Marcy; her mother, Faye Drake; one brother, Lee Dutschmann, Jr.; and two sisters, Debby Price, and Shelly Edmundson.
