Patricia Jean Carpenter

Patricia Jean (Gaither) Green Carpenter, 91, of Belton passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at a Belton care facility.

Graveside services for Mrs. Carpenter will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 10:00 AM at North Belton Cemetery in Belton with Rev. Andy Davis officiating.

Pat was born on December 28, 1928 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Luther and Olive (Wallace) Gaither. She grew up in Oklahoma and married James Green in 1946 in Oklahoma. They moved to the Central Texas area in 1969 and he preceded her in death in 1989. She later married Ernie Carpenter in 2000 and he preceded her in death in 2005. Mrs. Carpenter worked as a clerk in several local banks and later worked for Phil Leibowitz Insurance Company in Belton until her retirement. Pat was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Belton.

Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by her husbands, son Gary Green, and daughter Melinda Kinsey. She is survived by her son Larry Green of Belton, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-6 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
