Pamela Kay (Robinson) Marmon, 74, of Belton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at a San Antonio Care Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
A celebration of life for Pamela will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. John Roark and Pastor John West officiating. She will be laid to rest at a later date at North Belton Cemetery. She will be cremated.
Pamela was born on June 29, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Oma Mae Smith. She was adopted by her loving parents Frank and Doris (Watts) Robinson. Mrs. Marmon married David Marmon on March 1, 1968 in Durham, North Carolina and they were married for over 52 years before he passed away in July of 2020. Pamela moved to Belton in 1973 and lived here until she moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado in 1993. She returned to Belton in 2009 and resided here until her death. She was a longtime member of Keys Valley Baptist Church in Belton where she taught Sunday School and was the WMU director for many years. Mrs. Marmon worked as a hearing aid consultant at Beltone Hearing Aid Service in Temple and Ft. Collins prior to working as a school bus driver for the Poudre Valley School system where she retired in 2009.
Mrs. Marmon was preceded in death by her husband David Ray Marmon, birth mother Oma Smith and brother Charlie Smith. She is survived by her daughter Sherry Millican and her husband Si of San Antonio, sisters Vicky Robinson of Belton and Rachel Robinson of Nisswa, MN.; grandson Miles Millican of Tacoma, WA.; granddaughter Alison Millican of San Antonio; and stepmother LuAnn Robinson of North Ridge, CA.
