Pablo Sanchez Pirela, Sr.

Pablo Sanchez Pirela, Sr., 91, of Temple passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at his home in Temple.

Services will take place at a later date. His body will be cremated.

Pablo was born on April 28, 1930 in Patillas, Puerto Rico to Geraldo and Carmen (Sanchez) Pirela. He moved to Aurora, Illinois in 1953 and worked as a mechanic at Norb Kornak Oldsmobile until 1995 when he retired. Mr. Pirela moved around the country before finally settling in Temple in 2017. He was a Catholic.

Mr. Pirela was preceded in death by a son, Orlando Pirela and a daughter, Shiela Nelson. He is survived by five sons: Eddie Perez of Long Island, NY.; Alberto R. Pirela of Temple; Edwin M. Pirela of Gunnison, Ut.; Pablo S. Pirela, Jr. of West Chicago, Il.; and Geraldo M. Pirela of Temple, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
