Nova Louise Seale

March 9, 1935 — March 13, 2019

Nova Louise (Jackson) Seale left this earthly home and entered her heavenly home on March 13, 2019 at the age of 84, in Temple, TX.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 23 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, TX. Graveside service will be reserved for immediate family at a later date.

Louise was born on March 9, 1935 in Merit, TX to Jesse Jackson and Nova Mae (Miller) Jackson. She graduated from Caddo (OK) High School in 1953. She earned her associates degree in Office Machines at Central Texas College.

She met the love of her life, William “Bill” Regional Seale, in Dallas, TX and married him on April 10, 1954. Louise was a very caring and compassionate person, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her greatest joy in life was being a devoted wife and mother to her children, who adored and loved her. Whether it was raising her own five children or a number of neighborhood kids and friends that came in and out of her home, she was a wonderful mother to all. She is described by her children as the best Mom in the world. Her grandchildren knew they would always be greeted with a hug and an offer of a snack.

She was very supportive of her husband's military career and his following career at PHI; both required her to frequently be a “single” Mom while he was away for extended periods of time. She always remembered to bring the focus of the family back to spending time with their father whenever he was home. A common family activity was swimming and water skiing together. Alongside her husband, Bill, she was active in the the Bluebonnet Brittany Club, where she was the provider of the best coffee in camp, even though she didn't drink it herself. She could be found frequently embroidering squares for a future quilt her herself. Which, instead she shared the squares with her children, so each of them could have a quilt similar to her own. They were also members of the Chapter T GWRRA of Killeen, Longhorn Riding Club of Temple and Hoedowners Square Dance Club of Harker Heights.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 13 siblings; her husband, Bill and a daughter,  Marie.

Those left to honor and cherish her are, son, William “Bill” R. Seale, Jr and wife Cindy of Killeen, TX; her daughter, Carol Seale of Belton, TX;  daughter Debra Seale-Shaffer and husband Mark of Round Rock, TX;  son H. Eugene “Buster” Seale and wife, Shauna of Belton, TX; five grandchildren, Kevin, James, Matt and wife Haley, Nathan and Sarah and one great grandson, Jackson. As well as many other family and friends.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that donations be made to givers choice of any Diabetes Association or a Diabetes Research Center.
