Norma Jean Bruton

Norma Jean (Myers) Bruton, 75, of Temple passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Baylor-Scott and White in Temple.

Funeral services for Norma will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with H.K. Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Norma was born on October 29, 1946 in Wells County, Indiana to Gale and Weltha Myers. She grew up in Indiana and graduated from school there. Mrs. Bruton moved to the Central Texas area in 1964. She owned and operated Bumper to Bumper Insurance company in Belton from the late 90's until her retirement in 2020.

Mrs. Bruton was preceded in death by two sons, Chad Bruton and Pyett Bruton; a brother, and one sister. She is survived by her son Brandon Bruton of Belton; daughters Wendy Bruton of Temple and Bobbie Watkins of Belton; sisters Dorie Sam of Belton and Carolyn Boone of Florida; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:30-7:30 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
