Michael Kelly Gunter

Graveside service for Michael Kelly (Mike) Gunter will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Salado Cemetery, with Mickey Blanks officiating.

Mike was born on April 21, 1955 in Temple, TX, the son of Orville and Louise Gunter of Rogers, TX.

He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy (Cornelius) on May 28, 1977 in Rogers, TX, and they were married for 43 years. Mike graduated from Rogers High School in 1973, and from Texas A&M University in 1977. In 1985, Mike and Nancy moved to Belton, where he was a Financial Advisor for 35 years.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mason Taylor Gunter and a grandson, Easton Michael Gunter.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Gunter; three sons, Michael Wayne Gunter and wife, Heather, Matthew Clayton Gunter and wife, Laci, and John Mark Gunter and wife, Casey; a daughter, Marissa Gunter Smith and husband, Trevor; a brother, John Gunter; two sisters, Molly Bedrich and Donna Goodwin and seven grandchildren, Owen Gunter, Addison Gunter, Eveline Gunter, Eli Gunter, Mason Smith, Levi Smith and Caden Gunter.
