Matilde O Castillo

Funeral service for Matilde O. Castillo, 87 of Temple, will be November 15, 2018 at 10 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with Deacon Oscar Valeriano officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be November 14, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM with Rosary recited at 7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mr. Castillo died Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Temple. He was born March 14, 1931, in Uvalde, Texas, the son of Severaino and Francesca Olivarez Castillo. Mr. Castillo served in the United States Army. He was a Sheep Shearer and worked for General Motors.

He married Celia Hernandez on February 4, 1955 in Uvalde, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife Celia Castillo; five sons, Severiano Castillo and wife Patty of Belton, Daniel Castillo of Temple, Hector Castillo and wife Teresa of Belton, Rojelio Castillo and wife Lydia of Temple, and Freddy Castillo and wife Rosemary of Leander; three daughters, Dora Elsa Terpstra and husband Bobby of Rogers, Zenaida Rodriguez and husband Tommy of Temple, and Leticia Fuentes and husband Joe of Temple; eighteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
