Martha Ann Moore

Martha Ann Hester Moore entered eternal life on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at the age of 80 in a local hospital in Temple, TX with her beloved family, pastor and friends by her side.

Martha graduated from Temple High School. Martha held a variety of occupations through her life with Texas Highway Department, Dispatcher for Bell County Sheriff's Office and Pride Oil Company. She also managed the Dairy Queen in Bartlett, TX.

Martha is Survived by her brother David Hester, her son Roy Byrd and wife Paula Byrd, daughter Kristie Flint, son Cameron Byrd and wife Arronlynn Byrd. Grandchildren Mathew Byrd, Melinda Beaty, Haley Flint, Justin Flint and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in glory by her late husband Ira Lee Byrd, parents Hezzie Hughy Hester and Esther Annie Owen Hester, Sisters Betty, Wanda and Valda, brother Allan.

One of her favorite things in the last years of her life was attending The First Baptist Church in Holland, Texas. She loved helping with Fellowship suppers, food pantry and much more. Her love for her church, pastor and friends was very important to her.

Graveside services will be at Holland Cemetery in Holland Texas, at 11:00am Tuesday, November 8th, 2022.
