Martha Margaret Blair

Martha Margaret (Drake) Blair, 91, of Belton passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Baylor-Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

Funeral services for Martha will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home chapel in Belton with Rev. Jesse Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville.

Mrs. Blair was born on May 30, 1927 in Killeen, Texas to William Henry and Ida Lee (Bishop) Drake. She grew up in the Nolanville area and attended schools in Nolanville. Mrs. Blair married Jimmy Blair on July 31, 1945. Mrs. Blair worked for Griggs Equipment in Belton.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by infant son Jimmy Carroll Blair and her husband Jimmy F. Blair.

Martha is survived by one son, Randy Lee Blair of Belton, brothers Joe Drake of Gatesville and Dee Drake of Arkansas, two grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 26 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Dossman funeral home in Belton.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
