Mark Louis Trevino

Funeral services for Mark Louis Trevino, 67, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Christ the King Catholic Church with Rev. Father Sang officiating.   Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.

A Rosary will be recited at 7 PM Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Trevino died Thursday, August 8, 2019 in a Belton Nursing Home.

Mr. Trevino was born August 4, 1952, in Belton, the son of Eusebio 'Joe' Trevino and Mary (Jimenez) Trevino.    He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam Era (1969-1972).   He married Elida Ramirez May 27, 1970 in Belton.  He worked for 20 years for WilsonArt in Research and Development.   He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus, volunteered with Belton Teen League as a baseball coach and a volunteer with Belton EMS.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece Teresa Swanson.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Elida of Belton; three daughters Jennifer Hammack and her husband Ltc. Robert Hammack of Botswanna South Africa, Roberta Smith and her husband Barry Smith of Orlando, Marquis Trevino of Belton; grandson who he raised as his son Ethan C. Trevino of Corpus Christi; four grandchildren, Mia Hammack, Logan Hammack, Gigi Smith, and Rei Belen; two brothers Patrick Trevino and wife Hortencia San Antonio and Gilbert Trevino of Belton; three sisters Linda Swanson of Belton, Frances Trevino of Belton and Elizabeth Trevino Lewis and husband Hollis of Cameron.

Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church- Bereavement fund or to the Church general fund.
