Maria Antonia Garza

Maria Antonia Garza, 97, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at a Temple nursing home.

Graveside services for Maria will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen with Rev. H.K. Ballard officiating.

Mrs. Garza was born on June 13, 1923 in Alice, Texas to Isidoro Kennedy and Louisa (Soliz) Garza. She was raised in Alice and lived there most of her life until 1999 when she moved to Belton. She was a cook at several restaurants in Alice, TX throughout her life. She married Reynaldo Garza, Jr. on November 13, 1955 in Kleberg County, he preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hilario Salinas, and a daughter, Celia Salinas.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Mayra) Garza and Reynaldo Garza,III; two daughters, Sylvia Salinas (Michael) Jackson and Raquel ( Michael) Lopez; 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 5-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
