Lynn Johnson

Funeral services for Lynn Johnson, 78, of Little River, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Baggerly officiating.   Burial will follow at Bell Plains Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson died Sunday, January 12, 2020, in a Temple Hospital.

Mr. Johnson was born in Bell County, March 20, 1941, the son of Reynolds J. Johnson and Edna Moon Johnson.   He married Winnie Ray Bennight in 1970.   He worked Wilsonart for many years as a long haul driver and later drove a truck for Bar J. He also owned and operated the Texaco at the corner of Central and Penelope in Belton.    He loved Blue Bell, Dr. Pepper and bingo.

He was preceded in death by his wife Winnie Johnson one son Kenneth Walker.

Survivors include daughter Sonya Stafford and husband Calvin; three sons David Walker and wife Debbie, Billy Walker and wife Susie and Johnny Walker; and daughter-in-law Patricia; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.
