Lucy Jane White

Lucy (Gast) White went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023. She was born on August 2, 1950, she was
the youngest of fifteen children. Lucy was baptized on August 20, 1950, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Tonganoxie, Kansas. She was confirmed on October 16, 1958. She married Donald White on June 17, 1972, at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tonganoxie, Kansas. She and Donald had one son Donnie White. Later they
divorced. She became a CNA for many years. She enjoyed helping her patients, going dancing, going for walks and
going to the park. She liked gardening. She had the best green thumb anyone could ever imagine. She enjoyed
spending time with her Grandchildren. She was very involved in church.

Lucy was survived by her son Donnie White and wife Cleda, Two grandchildren Brittany Abney and
husband Tristan, and Joshua White. Two Great grandchildren Katelyn and Nicholas Abney. She was also survived
by her sisters, Cecelia Wilmes, Christina Thompson, Freda Meier, Brothers Bernard Gast, Herman Gast, Harry Gast, Alfred Gast
and Louis Gast and many nieces and nephews.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents Francis Gast Sr, and Mary (Kimmit) Gast. Sisters, Elizabeth
Mercier, Henrietta Bradley, Clara Darrow Brothers, Francis Gast Jr, Stephen Gast Sr., and Vincent Gast.

Rosary will be at 9:30am, on 20 May 2023 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with Memorial Service at 10:00am.
