Lori Lynn Barrett

Lori Lynn Rowland Barrett, born on April 6, 1962, peacefully departed this world on October 23, 2024. A devoted mother to her beloved sons, Sam and Tyler, Lori was a radiant presence in the lives of those who knew her.

With over 20 years of teaching, Lori inspired countless children with her passion for reading and learning. Her warm, nurturing spirit and heartfelt dedication left an enduring impact on her students and their families, fostering a love of education that will be remembered.

Lori found joy in scrapbooking, where she lovingly preserved precious memories shared with family and friends. She took immense pride in her grandson, Orion, whose laughter and love brought unparalleled joy to her life.

She is survived by her son Sam Barrett (Kristen) of Ocala, Florida, and her grandson Orion; her son Tyler Barrett of Salado, Texas; her adoring parents, Ronald and Carole Rowland of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her brother Brad Rowland of Franklin, Tennessee; her sister Andrea Rowland Beattie of Richmond, Virginia; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Lori will be profoundly missed, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering commitment to education. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
