Lisa Petty Taylor

Memorial services for Lisa (Petty) Taylor, 52, of Belton, will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 20, 2022, at New Life Fellowship Church in Belton with Roger Petty and Peggy Petty officiating.

She died Saturday, August 6, 2022, in a Temple hospital.

Lisa was born March 19, 1970, in Temple, the daughter of Roger Petty and Cindy (Elsik) Palmer.  She was a graduate of Belton High School and Temple College.  She worked as a Surgical Technician for several years.   She was a member of New Life Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her a half-brother.

Survivors include her father Roger Petty of Belton; mother, Cindy Palmer of Houston; husband John Yates of Temple;  three sons Justin Marsh and Jordan Marsh of Belton, and Paul Allen Odor; two daughters, Lauren Carpenter of Florida and Tessa Taylor of Belton; three brothers Brandon Palmer of Houston, Dustin Mitchell of Belton and Steven Mitchell of Belton.
