Funeral Services for Lisa Dianne Dalton, 51, of Temple, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 1, 2020, at the Vista Community Church in Temple with Charlotte Mick officiating. Burial will follow at the Pendelton Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 4-7 PM Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Dalton died Monday, July 27, 2020 at her home in Temple.
Lisa Dalton was born December 7, 1968, in Grand Prairie, the daughter of Ken and Fran (Sullivan) Kirkley. She received her Associates Degree from Austin Community College. She married Jamie Dalton September 19, 2009 in Round Rock.
Lisa worked part time for over three years for Thumbs Up Compliance. She was a Paramedic/FTO with Williamson County EMS for the last 13 years. She received many awards and accolades including a CAAS Award and two Phoenix Awards for saving a life with CPR. Lisa was dedicated to the Shattered Dreams program serving as coordinator and organizer for the prevention of youth drunk driving. She attended Vista Community Church in Temple at times, and loved Jesus equally like her family.
Lisa enjoyed running 5Ks, Tough Mudders and Spartan Races. She loved gatherings with friends and family, always lighting up the room with her laughter and infectious smile. Lisa and her husband Jamie, just absolutely loved to travel, among the many places they went together their favorites were Akumal Mexico, Boston and New Orleans. Her newest passion was spending time with her granddaughter Sunny and her sweet momma, Margie. Lisa not only spent her life caring for others but made a career of it, she touched the lives of every person she met and always made everyone feel like family. Lisa leaves behind, thousands of friends and lives over the country and parts of the world. If you had to live a life, you would live like she did, with love and passion, just laughing the entire time.
She was survived by her husband Williamson County EMS - Lt. Jamie Dalton of Temple, parents Ken and Fran Kirkley of Crowley; two sons Preston Tipton and partner Caitlin Dick of Crowley and Aubrey Seance of California; one daughter Margie Seance of Temple; one step son Stefan Schmid of Gainesville, Florida; brother Kenny Kirkley and wife Lindsay Kirkley, Jr. Of Glen Rose; sister Tracy Smith and husband Rance Smith of Alvarado, sister-in-law Terri (Dalton) Miller and husband Al Miller; brother in Law, Gary and Sandy Dalton and one precious granddaughter Sunny Gardener. Also many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Williamson County EMS for Shattered Dreams Youth Drunk Driving Prevention Program.
